Getting to Garganosurf

We are in Italy, in the Apulia region, in the district of Foggia Gargano, 5km north of the town of Vieste, on the beach of St. Maria. (Spiaggia lunga). Our centers are integrated in the holiday complex Cala Azzurra and in the holiday complex Isola la Chianca.

The Gargano rises as a huge promontory in the Adriatic Sea. In 1991, the “boots spur” was declared a national park and is one of the most popular holiday regions in the region, with beautiful cliffs and charming, medieval villages. Every day you can decide between recreational or active vacation again. The great beaches are among the cleanest Apulia and the coastline between Peschici and Vieste is a dream destination for kite and windsurfers. Hiking trails in the shadow of ancient tree giants also run through Foresta Umbra.

With the car

From the north you drive the Adriatic highway until Poggio Imperiale, and then continue through the serpentine of Gargano National Park to Vieste. The Italian tolls are about € 40,00 from Milan to Poggio Imperiale and about € 45,00 from the Brenner Pass to Poggio Imperiale (Highway An, – Departure to the Gargano.)

Take the train to Foggia and then continue by bus to Vieste.
